근관치료는 여느 치과치료와 마찬가지로 여러 과정을 거쳐 이루어지는 술식들로 이루어져 있습니다. 매 단계의 각 부분들은 어느 것 하나 소홀할 것 없이 중요합니다. 그 과정들 속에는 각각 원치 않거나 예상치 않은 일들이 발생할 수 있습니다. 아무래도 근관치료에서 기본적인 원칙들을 강조할 수밖에 없는 것도 이런 이유 때문일 것으로 판단됩니다.
근관폐쇄는 근관치료를 어렵게 하는 상태 중 하나일 것입니다. 이는 외상에 대한 반응으로 근관 내에 경조직이 침착되는 것으로 방사선 사진 상에 미리 확인할 수 있거나 혹은 알기 어려운 경우도 있습니다.
기구 분리는 근관 내에서 기구조작을 하는 과정 도중에 발생합니다. 여기에 기여하는 인자들은 여러 가지가 있지만 발생한 후에 하는 처치의 난이도는 대부분 높습니다. 그러므로 기구 분리를 피하는 것에 중점을 두는 것이 좋을 것으로 보입니다.
근관치료 후 통증에서 흔하게 관찰되는 원인은 근관을 놓치는 것입니다. 이를 잘 해결한다면 일반적인 경우에서 술후 통증은 줄어들 것으로 판단합니다. 이 밖에도 치료 도중에 발생하는 여러 가지 문제점들이 있습니다.
본 발표에서는 근관치료 과정에서 흔하게 만나게 되는 여러가지 상황들을 해결하는 방법을 증례들과 함께 살펴보고자 합니다.
Endodontic treatment consists of several procedures. Each part is important. And unexpected events can occur in these processes.
Pulp canal obliteration may be one of the conditions that makes root canal treatment difficult. This is because the hard tissue is deposited in the root canal in response to the trauma, which may or may not be visible on the radiograph.
Endodontic instrument separation occurs during instrumentation within the root canal. There are many factors contributing to this, but the difficulty of the treatment after the occurrence is high. It would be better to focus on avoiding instrument separation.
A common cause of pain after endodontic treatment may be missing the root canal. If you solve this well, in general cases postoperative pain will be reduced. There are many other problems that occur during treatment.
In this presentation, we will discuss case studies on how to resolve many of the common situations encountered during endodontic treatment.
