임플란트 술식의 발전 과정중 2000년대 초반에 등장한 가장 큰 테마 중의 하나는 아마도 발치와에 관한 재조명이었을 것이다.
그 이전에는 발치 후 식립 시기를 분류하고 추가적인 GBR을 하는가의 문제로 많은 학술적 논쟁이 있어왔다.
그나마 발치 후 즉시 임플란트를 식립하는 것이 발치와에 대한 고려사항 중 가장 큰 이슈였다.
하지만 Araujo, Lindhe 등을 시작으로 세계의 수많은 학자들이 발치와 보존술에 대한 임상, 동물 연구를 시작함에 따라 세계적인 치료의 트렌드가 바뀌기 시작하였다.
수년 전 이탈리아의 Rocuzzo 선생은 이미 치조제 보존술에 식립된 임플란트의 10년 경과를 발표 한 바 있다.
이제 치조제 보존술은 그 누구도 부정할 수 없는 치과계의 하나의 술식으로 자리 잡은 것 같다.
하지만 여전히 아직도 어떤 이식재와 어떤 형태로 시행을 해야 할지에 대한 가이드라인은 정립되어 있지 않다.
본 발표를 통해 치조제 보존술 후 임플란트 식립에 관한 핵심적인 키워드 등을 정리하고자 한다.
In early 2000, the biggest event in implant dentistry was to revisit the extraction socket, which was quite neglected previously. Before these revists, clinicians considered the timing of implant placement after extraction and came up with the classifications. After Pf. Araujo or Pf. Lindhe started to report preclinical and clinical studies, contemporary implant dentistry has started a new trend.
A few years ago, Dr. Rocuzzo from Italy has reported 10 year long term follow up after open healing alveolar ridge preservation and this specific technique has become undeniable popular trend among clinicians. However, no one can clearly provide treatment guideline regarding when, and how we should perform alveolar ridge preservation and how we place implants.
From this lecture today, we will go over key factors regarding implant placement after alveolar ridge preservation.
