After studying Tweed Technique in the Korean Orthodontic Research Institute Inc. (Seoul, Korea) and having clinical experience in MD Dental Clinic (Cheongju, Korea), Dr Khvan Tatiana came back to Moscow, Russia and started her own orthodontic practice using Tweed-Merrifield Technology for Caucasian patients.
Purpose of this presentation is to review several orthodontic cases, treated with Directional Force Technology, to evaluate treatment results and retention.
In the presentation, following cases will be shown :
Case 1: Patient A (F, 27y)
Skeletal Class I Bimaxillary Protrusion, 4/4 Extraction
Case 2: Patient C (M, 19y)
Class II div 1, 4/5 Extraction
Case 3: Patient S (F, 23y)
Class III Open bite tendency
Conclusion : Directional Force Technology is working and effective instrument for achieving good orthodontic treatment results, which means establishing good facial esthetics, function and stability.
